The Dentelles de Montmirail
First advances in the Alps in the Rhone valley with a typical Mediterranean flora. Landscape is shaped by men and agriculture: terraces of olive trees, fruit trees, cereales and vineyards.
Three AOC Cru wines from the Côtes du Rhône to discover: Beaumes-de-Venise, Gigondas and Vacqueyras.

The Mont Ventoux
Altitude 1912 meters (the plain is between 100 and 300 meters).
Territory very varied:

The Comtat Venaissin
Independent Pontifical Territory from the 13th to the 18th century, this fertile plain products most of the fruits and vegetables coloring our markets, “the enclosure of my delight” for the Pope Clement V who just settled in 1309.
Carpentras, its capital, is a gem to find, the city thrives on its many markets and fairs and still has beautiful vestiges of its prestigious past: Synagogue, St. Siffrein Cathedral, Hotel Dieu 18th century.
But also lots of villages with many treasures: Caromb, Crillon-le-Brave, Le Barroux, Venasque …. all names that make you dream of !
